Welcome to Sura Academy (operated by Falco Wisskirchen). These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Student", "Instructor", or "Visitor") and Falco Wisskirchen / Sura Academy ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of our online academy, courses, video lectures, live webinars, quizzes, certificates, and associated digital services (collectively, the "Platform") available at https://sura-academy.com.

2. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By registering an account, purchasing course access, browsing our catalog, subscribing to communications, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the statutory Legal Notice (Impressum). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue using the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Individuals under 18 may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts, Security & Credentials

To access courses, quizzes, webinars, and certificates, you must create a registered account. When creating your account, you agree to provide accurate registration information, maintain login confidentiality, and accept full responsibility for all activities occurring under your credentials.

Prohibition of Account Sharing: User accounts are strictly individual and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, or transfer login credentials. Sura Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts exhibiting unauthorized multi-device sharing patterns without refund.

4. Intellectual Property & Educational Streaming License

All content made available through Sura Academy—including video streaming feeds, lecture audio, downloadable resource files, quizzes, source code, and logos—is the exclusive intellectual property of Falco Wisskirchen or its licensed instructors, protected by German and international copyright law (Urheberrechtsgesetz - UrhG).

Limited License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and stream purchased course content for individual, non-commercial educational purposes. You strictly agree NOT to download (except explicitly designated resource files), screen-record, rip, redistribute, resell, or publicly broadcast any course materials.

5. Course Purchases, Pricing & Taxes

Course fees and subscriptions are clearly displayed on the Platform at https://sura-academy.com. In compliance with German and EU VAT regulations, applicable value-added taxes are calculated and charged at checkout. All payments are processed securely through certified, tokenized payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal). Raw credit card data is never stored on our servers.

6. Quizzes, Assignments, and Verified Certificates

Certificates issued by Sura Academy verify course completion on our Platform and do not constitute formal university degrees or state-accredited occupational licenses unless explicitly indicated in writing. Cheating or utilizing automated scripts will result in immediate certificate revocation.

7. Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines

In public forums, Q&A sections, and live webinars, you agree to maintain a respectful, constructive environment and refrain from posting unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content.

8. Disclaimer of Liability & Statutory Limitations

Liability for Content: As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content in accordance with § 7 (1) TMG and general legislation. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general legislation remain unaffected upon knowledge of a concrete infringement.

Liability for Links: Our website may contain links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.

IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR SLIGHT NEGLIGENCE SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO FORESEEABLE, CONTRACT-TYPICAL DAMAGES OR THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

9. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. You can contact us at [email protected]. We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The statutory place of jurisdiction applies.
